Starting to panic

My surgery is scheduled for Feb. 19th. I start my liquid diet on February 4. I'm starting to get worried and panic a bit. I've never done a liquid diet before and worry it's good to be so hard. I am completely committed to the surgery but it's starting to get very real now and I'm getting scared!

  • I didn't do well with any pre-op diet regimen, still had my surgery on time and I'm doing fine. Do the best you can; but unless you've got some major health ailments, and an already huge liver, don'

I'm actually really surprised. I'm half way done with day 2, and I've barely been hungry, or had any headaches.. And I started my TOM last night. I'm still shocked I don't want to eat everything in sight. Haha.

I'm right with you, Sarah. Day 2 for me, little hunger and surprisingly no headaches from giving up diet pop and coffee. I was expecting a major fallout from caffeine withdrawal, but (knock on wood) so far I'm good. My TOM is a day late, so I'm hoping that doesn't mess up my good attitude - lol.

When is your surgery? I'm the 17th. Can't believe it's so close!

Thankfully i don't really drink soda or coffee/caffeine. But I figured I'd go through carb/sugar withdrawals or something. Hah.

And I'm still in a decent mood, but slifhtly cranky. I think it's just my TOM. And still no real strong hunger or headaches.

My surgery is the 19th. I can't believe it's so close too. Time is flying.
