January 26, 201412 yr A fellow sleever I met in nutrition class found me on her and ironically we are having surgery the same day!! She is the first case of the day and I am the second. We been texting since we are both going through the liver reduction diet together. It is fantastic to have someone to buddy up with. The liquid diet hasn't been bad at all. Honestly I haven't been really hungry but I do miss eating. We are allowed a half cup of non-starchy veggies a day... I been eating a cup. I am going to try to reduce it to a half tomorrow. I have lost 4 lbs already. I feel super sluggish and have to push really hard to get anything done and my gut is making embarrassing noises.

January 26, 201412 yr Hello, I have been a lurker on this board for the past 6 months as I completed my classes with Kaiser. I am excited to say all I have left to complete is my last lab and fitness test. I am waiting on them to call me next week to schedule them. I was told by February 23 my surgery will happen!!! It is so great to be at the end of this journey and start a new one... I would love to have a buddy or two talk with.
January 26, 201412 yr Author Hey loving life, lurk no more...... I am so excited for you!!! So at Kaiser do you just do the required steps (classes, labs, tests, etc) and then you schedule surgery or do you then wait for authorization?
