I really think she needs to be left alone with a walker and food that is good for her in another room. She would have to get everything herself.

Did anyone watch the one with the 22 year old?

I don't understand how these peoples families can just not work! And her whole family moved to Houston. Like grown brothers and uncles it seemed. Do they not have jobs?

I know sometimes when people are on disability the government pays a family member to act as a care giver. I just don't think that's right. Because then they are going to sabotage.

That jumped out at me, too! On Christina's Story (the 22 year old), her mother and her husband both told Dr. N. that they do not work and take care of Christina full time. They did not say whether her father or adult brother and sister work.

Keep in mind she used to do BBW porn and that is how her husband met her. Yes he's a total jerk but he obviously has a strong preference for large women.

Re: Zsalynn -- Just my opinion, but this seems a bit unfair. So what if he has a thing for large women? This is his WIFE, there's no excuse to mistreat her, especially when it is potentially at the expense of her health.

I also fail to see what her "porn" or whatever career has to do with his shitty treatment. She's still a person. :)

Re: Penny -- I just saw this last night for the first time so I am a little late to the party but OMG what about when they showed her husband bringing her the bedpan and then wiping her ass etc? I understand it is a caring thing to do for someone you love, however a normal person would be embarassed and humiliated to have her husband do this. She did not seem bothered at all. Penny is a sick person and I don't know if there is really any hope for her.

FYI they are running episodes of this show on Discovery Health Network at this time.
