I have started the process for my surgury. I did my blood work and x ray. I know I got a long way to go. Just wanted to know the time period before surgury and how is it going.

each insurance is different, so that can effect your timing...for me it was 3 months from the date that I signed up at the orientation meeting where the dr explained the different surgeries available, etc., to the date of my surgery... which seemed like FOREVER... but it was done and I am so grateful! It is a wonderful tool to help you on your journey! Good luck.

Same here- about three months from my first inquiry to surgery date. About 6 weeks to get all of my appointments scheduled and done, several weeks for final insurance approval, then surgery was scheduled & two weeks for my pre-op diet. Good luck to you!

I had my first appointment on June 26th my surgery could have been mid October but I choose to wait to mid November. I had lots of tests and appointments to keep me busy in between.
