Hi I had surgery 5 days ago and although clear fluids are going down well. Full fluids is another story completely. I have been dealing with quite a bit of pain but was finally given the correct med for me today. Children's Tylenol was the only pain med I was taking and I think it was giving me dumping syndrome. Omg that was horrible. Anyway I was feeling alone and just decided to find some support out there because I live outside of Kingston, Ontario and would love to know that it's ok to not be tolerating everything right away. And that why do the classes focus only on the nutrition aspect. Yes 99% is all about us learning what to do and expect. However maybe one person could have said it will hurt and your first few weeks may suck but this is what you should expect!!!! Just a little thought/rant. It's over now. Lol. :-)
