Sore gums

I had the vert sleeve last Thurs and I have noticed my gums are sore. I recall it started Saturday. I stopped drinking crystal lite because i thought it might be from the acid in the lemonade flavor? My gums have always been healthy. Maybe Imam not getting enough water in?

Make sure you are getting enough Vitamin C. I've been on diets in the past which were low and no carb and I was such a fanatic that I cut out all of the foods that were natural sources of Vitamin C. Over time I developed a Vitamin deficiency which was affecting the muscles in my shins and also my gums were bleeding and receding.

Milk inhibits the absorption of Vitamin C, so take your vitamin C at a time

where you won't be drinking or eating milk based products.

Also, you may check with your dentist to see if a mouthwash or other product would help protect your gums?
