Hi Curvy Cakes,

Welcome to BariatricPal and your upcoming sleeve surgery.

Here is a forum that is dedicated to patients having their surgery in March 2014. http://www.bariatricpal.com/forum/1000-march-2014-sleevers/ There appear to be two topics posted there already. You may be able to find other March members.

There are a lot of topics and many helpful members here at BariatricPal.

Hey there thanks a lot I will visit there now. I find I'm super excited to start this journey but scared at same time. Thanks again!

I know the feeling well. Totally normal feelings to be excited and nervous. You will probably experience those same feelings many times during your journey.

Yes, I had my sleeve surgery on 10/25/13.

If u don't mind me asking how much have u lost so far? How r u feeling?

  • 2 weeks later...

I am 6 days post op sleeve, yes before hand I was nervous and thought of many times about cancelling. One of the main reasons was I had surgery on my left foot and ankle in September and still needed the assistance of a walker. I am staying with my daughter right now she is taking great care of me. But have taken a few steps solo!
