So 7th January it is...

Wish you all a very happy & healthy new year..

After trying every diet and losing then gaining, I finally got a green signal to get the surgery, I have been waiting for..

Here is what made surgery thought into reality :

I live in canada but for my sisters wedding, I had to visit India and for some reason, 99% of all girls are skinny to average over here and I found myself completely out of place, embarrassed and unattractive.. I really really wanted to get this surgery however due finances and my husbands complete disapproval (he is more scared of seeing me in pain and is worried about the side effects), I had to keep it in my heart... But on Christmas Day, my inlaws family doctor visited and the first thing she said was that I should get a weightloss surgery (I was happy rather then being offended lol) so after a long chat with my husband about surgery, taking time off work and him to fly back alone to India and for my to partially stay at my parents & his, he agreed..

I went to the Max hospital in Delhi on December 27 for preop consultation and after spending almost whole day there, they approved JANUARY 7 TO BE MY SURGERY DAY

Now I am using this site to gain more information, write down my journey and connect with people...

Cheers!

Awesome news! Please keep us updated. I'm curious about the experience outside of the United States.

Thank you for connecting.. Overall I am very satisfied with the surgeon and hospital.. Only thing I am wondering is how many follow ups are needed...

I can stay back for one month follow up but that's pretty much it ...
