I have it - it bothered me at first, but now, 2 years after starting on Levothyroxine, I kind of forget about it. I was worried about slow loss due to it. Now, I rarely think about it...although I take a pill every morning for it. I have thyroid nodules that they are keeping an eye on, but other than that, it is what it is.

I think with the thyroid, insulin resistance (because we don't want to call it diabetes), and PCOS, I wasn't going to lose this weight on my own. I needed this assistance.

So far, so good - since I decided to have surgery in August, I'm down 42 pounds with 25 of those coming off after surgery.

Best of luck to you!

I was diagnosed 7 years ago. I had my sleeve on 8/6/13. So far I have lost 80 lbs so far. My medication had to be lowered a bit but other than that I have not had any issues. Good luck to you.
