Howdy. I got my sleeve on 12/9, and it is one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love it! Check out the December 2013 sleevers log, It's full of great people who have gotten their sleeves in December. Lots of great information on there. I had my 3 week post op nutrition and nurse appointment today, and they said I'm right on target. I'm cleared to eat any healthy food I want, just much smaller portions. Small bites, and chew, chew, chew!!! My post op has gone very smoothly, and I even returned to work part time when I was 8 days out. Love my sleeve!

Thanks for info! Have you experienced any hair loss I'm freaking out about this??

My surgery date is also 1/14. I started my Optifast diet yesterday. My husband had gatric bypass in 2010 and has lost/kept off 150 pounds. I'm almost 50, 5'4" and today, 232 lbs. My goal is to get to 150 or down to size 12 and be able to buy clothes in the regular ladies department. Good luck on your journey and keep us updated. It's scary but I have a great support systems with my hubby having been through it makes it easier. Happy New "Thinner" Year!

You mean you want to lose 100 pounds, not weigh 100, right?
