Newly Banded & Luvin' It!!

Hey, last post I was 9 day pre-op. Now I'm 9 days post-op. I feel great, haven't been hungry, and have lost 16 lbs!! And I am in love with Boost!!

Removed my stitches at 7 days and found out ALL my discomfort was the stitches. No pain from surgery at all. All in all I had a good experience, and now I am excited about the future. I wore a shirt to church last night that I haven't been able to wear in nearly a year. My energy level is already greater than before. I can't wait to see how good I feel at 50-60 lbs instead of 16 lbs!!

:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

That is awesome. I was banded less than a month ago and had a very similiar experience. It is so awesome to be able to start pulling out clothes you haven't worn in a while. I was so thrilled to be small enough to run in and by a shirt at one of the massive discount stores. Finally back down to that size.

Funny, we finally found a scale I can weigh on at home where I wasn't over the max. It helps keep up on the amount lost, but still use Dr. scales as the official.

Hi Buckwheat, I love that name BTW. You are doing great. I am glad to see you came through the surgery with a breeze. That is how it was for me. Congrats. Keep up the good work.
