More calories?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone noticed when they increase their calories occasionally they actually lose weight? I have been in a stall for about a month now. Yesterday I ate more than I normally would have (still not a lot by normal standards) and when I got on the scale this morning I had lost 3 lbs. just wondering if anyone else he noticed this when increasing calories on occasion?

Yep right here! lol

I haven't stalled for more than a week but I increased my calories and the following week I lost 4 pounds :) I'm only 4 months out so I didn't get many calories in then. Now I stick to about 1000.

I'm about 8 months out and only about 20 lbs from goal so this is definitely my longest stall but I knew it be harder for the last few pounds. I couldn't believe it when I got on the scale after eating way more than normal. I usually stay under 800 calories but I'm wondering it I should increase it though?

It might me time to add a few more possibly 100 for a while. See how you feel adding. :)

20 pounds from goal is awesome!!! Great job!!

I try to keep by body guessing by adding more calories a couple days a week. So far the only stall I've experienced is the three week.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
