pre-op testing

Hello Everyone, Well today i start the first batch of testing and am feeling great about it. just a little scared, i guess its normal . am having a untra sound of the stomach, and a upper gi with barrium....it sound nasty....

Don't worry about the upper GI. It's not that bad. Had mine a couple of weeks ago. It's more weird than anything. They make you swallow in a couple of awkward positions. Good luck!

Hi betsey1958, I am just starting this journey too. I am hoping to have my surgery in February 2014. Good luck with your journey.

They shook my stomach like they were mixing a protein shake to get the barium all over and had to roll over two times in a row lol
