Failure

I had my Lap Band this time last year and I did great at first but once I got to 30 pounds I was stuck. Being stuck took its toll and I have up. I'm back to the right mind set and ready to focus but I'm scared that I've already messed up my band. I haven't had a full for five months. Is it to late to get back on track ? Has anyone else had this problem ?

  • It's never too late to get back on track! I did great "in the beginning"...just as you say. GungHO, exercising, eating what I was supposed to, etc, etc....then the Honeymoon ended! I too, thought

  • First, I'm not sure how you can "Mess Up" your band...... Whenever I read posts such as these, I always ask myself "Is it the person who is at fault? OR is the Band not functioning as it should be"

Go back to doctor, I was in the same boat June of this year started using myfitnesspal religiously, talked to dietitian, and exercise most days have added a 70 pound weight loss to the previous 35 since surgery July of 2013....remember it's all you till you have has enough fills to be in green zone then the band helps.... Eat your protein first!!!!!
