I have finished with all my pre-certification testing: consultation, labs, and Manometry, clearance from PCP and Psychiatric. I just received a call that everything has been submitted to my insurance! Now I wait for the approval!! I am hoping to have my surgery by the end of January.

I am right there with you. All my stuff was submitted and I am waiting for the call. I am hoping to be done in mid to end of January. I am nervous but excited. I need this kick in my ass to get my life back on track and I want to be a good role model for my two boys. I want better for them then what I have become. And it will be nice to be able to run around with them come summer time. Where abouts are you? I am in MA.

Just got the call today that I was approved!!! So excited!! I meet with the surgeon Thursday for consult and to pick a date!!! Have you heard anything yet?

Yay!!!! Congrats!!!!???? my insurance is making me complete a weekly phone conducted information sessions about hypertension. It takes 3 weeks to finish. When that is finished, my case will go before the medical board to be approved. I probably won't know until the end of January. ????

I saw my surgeon, Dr Schneider, in Boston, MA yesterday and was cleared for surgery. Surgery date is 2/24. I need to lose 10 lbs before then, and pre op diet starts two weeks prior. I am excited and nervous! 2 months and counting!

Ohhhh wonderful!!! Are u scared? I know I'm gonna be a wreck when that day comes! Lord I'll be a wreck the day I find out I'm approved!!!! Maybe we'll have ours close together!!! Well congrats !!!!!
