First Consulation

Hi my name is Betsy . I am 39 yrs old. I had my first consulation today. I was really looking forward the lapband but the surgeon suggest the bypass do to my weight and my heartburn. so i really have to think about it. my insurance require 6 mos of weight in.. so i had my blood drawn today.. i have to go back on the 20 th of december. so i will keep ya'll posted...

    Hi Betsy,

    Welcome to these forums and your journey! I had a similar experience and I used the time to make a change each month so all the lifestyle changes weren't so abrupt. First one, log what you eat and drink. I use MyFinessPal, but there are many apps and websites that do this.
