so i have my surgery scheduled for the day after thanksgiving. im having my lapband removed and revised the the sleeve. i went for preop testing and tested positive for H pylori. Had to start a round of heavy duty antibiotics and now my surgery might be postponed. :-( Very upsetting. and i am wondering why if its routine to check for this before this type of surgery my doctor waited so long to check me for it? Feeling Furious! anyone out there find out they had hpylori in there preop testing and how long did it take to clear up? (its a bacteria in the stomach that causes infection in the lining of your stomach, my level wasnt very high so the infection must not be that bad )
