Kind of expected this, but I'm still sad about it. The insurance company said that my surgeon can do a peer to peer review to try and get it overturned. I hope that works **fingers crossed**

This happened to me and after the review it was all good. Some insurance companies are picky. If you have co morbidities and your wt and BMI are not healthy you should not have a problem. Good luck. Keep us updated.

Happened to me too! They denied me for no apparent reason. I clearly met all the requirements. Several people from my husbands company had were approved with the exact same insurance coverage! The hardest part was doing the pre-op diet again. Everything happens for a reason. Don't give up.

Thanks for the reassurance. I do have comorbidities, I met all of the requirements. There just wasn't a letter from the referring doctor. I will have faith that it will get resolved with the peer to peer.
