1 day post op

So I was sleeved yesterday here in Mexico and it went very well. The doctor and his staff are amazing. I wasn't in any pain until today. I think I did too much walking around this morning. I was able to drink about an ounce of water. It hurt my tummy. It was too cold. So I let it sit at room temp for a while then took another sip and felt fine. I got like 3 hours of sleep last night! Jet lag is real. But I always get like that the first day especially traveling from the East Coast. Oh and Dr quinones is very nice and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions even though I had spoke to him over the phone several times before. I feel totally secure. I traveled alone. My fiancé just started a new position and could get the days off. But I feel safe here at the hospital. Tomorrow I go to the hotel where there is nursing staff there as well. I'm looking forward to the broth! I am worried about the first few weeks and protein intake. I guess I will take it one day at a time.
