My stomach (Frankensleeve) would grrr at me with the slightest provocation. I was limited to eating about 3/4 can of cream of mushroom soup per day for the 1st few weeks. I was hurting pretty good.

I'm actually day 8 post op TODAY! Terrible Stomach pains also w/ cream soup (at abt 2 oz), although not w/ protein shakes. Did not like the way I felt after eating the soup!! I will try yogurt tomorrow and cream of wheat (very runny). Also, I like the No sugar added Carnation Instant Breakfast - 5 g protein, 12 carbs, and 60 cals w/ 8 oz skim milk. Don't get discouraged. Keep drinking your water and get your protein in. Our bodies need to heal:)
