Well I'm 53, and it seems to be working ok for me. The surgery itself wasn't bad, and the sleeve is just another tool to help us lose the weight. Just follow your doc's plan and you should be fine. I tend to lose weight more slowly than some of the other folks on here, but I couldn't lose anything with out the sleeve so I'm satisfied that it's doing its job. Good luck to you!

I just turned 70 and had my sleeve at 66 with my husband. It has been life changing and we would do it again in a heartbeat. 15 years of WL seminars for him, and I led him to the fire. He is so thankful, happy, and 100 lbs. lighter for the rest of his life.

I'm 69, Dr said I can expect surgery to be scheduled in August. I'm so looking forward to it! Going thru my testing. Fed up with seeing pictures of me being the fat one! Hope to stay in contact with some who are having surgery in 2017. Good luck to us all!

You are an inspiration. Can't wait to see your progress!
