I'm from Alabama I'm now into my 4th visit with my doc . i decided to have the sleeve done after years of fad diets I hate I have to do the 6 month thing but I'm glad I found this group for support .

I am from NY and i also had to do the 6 month requirement. I was up and down during it but at the end of it i was still up like 3 lbs from where i had originally started. I have done just about every fad diet and taken every diet pill you could think of. I had a little success back in 2009 with the alli pill. i lost about 40lbs but it came back over a period of 6 months. The first half of the 6 months went really slow for me but then at the end i actually had trouble squeezing in all my appts. Now i am just waiting for the official date.

Yes this site is great. I never feel asahmed to ask anything b/c i know someone will have experienced the same thing. And trust me there isnt much thats TMI around here.

Keep me posted on your journey!

Are you on any kind of supervised diet?

I wish my surgery was the 23rd. Lucky duck :)

I am on my preop diet. 2 protein shakes and a light salad right now.

You can do this. Everyone says the first 3 days are the worst.
