Insurance issues

I was going to have my band to sleeve conversion after the 1st of the year, and my new insurance has NO bariatric coverage as of Jan 1st, 2014!! Ahhhh!!!

I think so, as long as you are approved by your insurance I would call and tell them younwant it done ASAP. Never take no for an answer, tell them you will take cancelation date if one comes available.

I think if my insurance coverage changes - I'm submitting for conversion as well - my 08 band slipped and I'm having complication's I'd just try to finance it. But the "hospital" costs would probably be more than a luxury car b/c of overnight stay. I do like the suggestion of bumping your date as well. Good luck to you!

OMG - that's what I'm afraid will happen with mine...and I have a broken band right now - I want this done in 2013 so I know I'm in...Sorry for your changes - are you considering financing?
