FIRST CONSULATION

well i received a call today about my first visit. they told me it had to be cancel. so now i will see the dr. in december. they also put me on a waiting list to c if anybody cancel. i was all sike up for this appointment. now i just have to wait longer

i am so sorry. when my surgery kept getting delayed i would leave the office in tears. we get so psych'd up for our appointments . i am sorry that you have to wait longer, it's hard.

Betsy, be proactive, check with your insurance and your surgeon's office and start working on any requirements now... supervised diet is the biggie! I was required to do a 6 month supervised diet and got 5 months of it taken care of before I ever stepped foot into the surgeon's office. Surgery date was exactly 2 months from my initial consultation.

I've found that in all my healthcare needs, the more proactive and involved you are... the better results and more satisfied you are. So take charge!!

thanks yall for the advice.. but get a call that they moved up my appointment to the 22nd of november so am glad about that...yes i did called me insurance they said the doctors have to fill out the papers they determine if am eligible. so they refuse to tell me anything else i ask.... so its seems i have to wait....
