praying for speedy insurance approval.

I go for my last 6month required appointment on wednesday the 6th and am praying that insurance responds quickly and with approval. Wednesday they will submit everything (letter of neccessity, 6months of visits, bmi 52, plus elevated bp and insulin resistance.) My anxiety is through the roof over all this will feel so much better when I know Im approved.

I know how you feel. I go to the nutritionist and psychologist on Nov 13th and then they will submit to my insurance company. The doctor said it usually takes a week or so to hear from them. I am a nervous wreck already!

Yep im gonna be a wreck until I know..

I'm right there with both of you ladies, I go for my final visit this Thurs the 7th then everything gets submitted to the insurance....then its the waiting game. I pray they don't take long for an approval cause I will go crazy waiting! Good luck to each of you and hope to hear how each turns out!

Fingers crossed and praying for all

Ugh! that final waiting period is the worst! I had my final hoop jump visit on September 22nd then I was told that it would be four to six weeks wait to hear if I had been approved. (I have Aetna.) It took five weeks. Longest five weeks of my life! LOL But looking back on it, now that i have my approval and date and my approval letter safely tucked away, it doesn't seem so long, after all. Hang in there, the time will pass, I promise you and soon, you will have everything you have been working towards. :D

I hope mine is quick.. I hate feeling all this anxiety. They submitted on wed the 6th so hopefully any day now.

I'm in the same boat. I finished all my pre-op testing on Oct. 30th. My doctor's office said I should be hearing from them sometime this week. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I am only believing that everything will work out. Honestly, one of my biggest concerns is how to deal with all the holiday stuff that will be coming up. Good luck to everyone!

Wednesday will be a week. Hopefully i will have my date by then. Fingers crossed and praying for everybody.

Hey Ladies, finished my four required appointments too. Waiting for final approval. Drs office said it could take 30-45 days but it usually takes 2-3 weeks. They told me to start my preop liquid diet this week so when we got approval they could schedule surgery right away!! Awesome! Good luck!
