Update please

Good morning all. Just wanted to see how everyone is doing since there last post. Hope everyone is doing well :) I go for my first fill on Oct 31st. At my last appointment my Dr told me his goal is to get me where I am not hungry for 6-8 hours at a time. Right now I'm at 2 1/2 - 3 hours, if not sooner, during the day and either drink green tea or water to hold me over, and at night it's like come home, eat my 4 oz, then eat 4 oz yogurt and then maybe 1-2 T peanut butter with choc pudding. I do so good during the day. I think, no I know, that the night time snacking is more comfort than hunger. Any suggestions? Hopefully after my 1st fill I will be better :)

Hi all!

I got my second fill October 9th. The first two weeks I can really tell the difference, but now I'm hungry again. I now have 6 cc's in my 14cc band. I've been told it takes between 3 and 5 fills to really start getting to green. I sure hope its three for me. I'm losing about 3 lbs a week, but it's been difficult to stay on track. It's like any other diet you really have to work hard with the band as your team mate... It's not easy. The band is not an easy way out or quick fix. It takes dedication. I know, I know... I'm preaching to the choir. I'm looking forward to my third fill on December 6th. I won't mind if they give me another 3ccs. Bama, as for the evening snacking, which I struggle with too. I try sf Popsicles or Jello. Something low cal. I've figured out eating really slow...even the stuff I'm bored with eating helps me feel more satisfied. It's the darnedest thing! Good luck!!

Take Two.

This past weekend I was so hungry. I ate the entire weekend. I tried to eat small portions and low calorie items, but I ate a cheeseburger w/o bun deluxe. Then on Saturday I had steak. I only ate about a third of the steak, but with the roll I was on I knew it was time for a fill. I called my Dr's office to ask if I could get a fill this week instead of waiting until Dec 6th. So, luckily they agreed and I'm going in on Wednesday. I'm relieved b/c I don't want to gain weight and go through Thanksgiving devouring everything in sight.

Hope all is well with my fellow Bandsters. I feel like I talk too much on here. Sorry, if you all find me annoying! :(

hey so i've had 3 fills with my 3rd scheduled for dec 3rd. 2013 I'm hoping all the 3's bring me good luck and i find the green zone. for the most part i can still eat how i want.working on smaller portions and trying to listen to when my body has had enough not what my head keeps telling me.. is so much harder than i ever thought i'm still struggling to lose weight i go up and down and it's driving me insane.. i know the band isnt' fully working yet but still get discouraged at times and question what have i done.. i'm down some where between 26 and 29 lbs depends on the day.. I should be happy.. :(
