Nightly gas pains

Does anyone else get gas pains every night? I can set my watch by it.

I get a sharp pain on my right side that goes away while I sleep. At first I thought I pulled a muscle, but when I got it again the next few nights I knew what it was. I determined that if I eat a high Protein dinner I get them.

I am 7 days post op. Will they go away later on or will I have them forever now?

I've tried walking, moving around, and gas x strips to no avail. Has anyone had success with beano?
