For those of you who get them and had gastric bypass, what do you take for them? I always took motrin but it's a no no now

I don't have one but I do get headaches and was an avid Motrin 800 and excedrine drinker. I now only drink Tylenol, and surprisingly it helps! I drink one 500mg then one more 500mg an hour or so later.

Be very careful of tylenol....too much can cause liver failure very easily and there's some evidence that gb patients are more susceptible to liver failure due to acetametphen overdose. I was told two extra strength tylenol every eight hours not to exceed 3000 mg every 24 hours. Doctors should be educating patients about this danger, especially since this is the only pain reliever we can take.

I think it helps because we used the good stuff and now that we are limited whatever we can use helps. I only take one too, but if I need a little extra I will take a second pill about an hour later.
