8 months post op and pregnant

So last night and today I got positive pregnancy results. My question is....what in the world do I do now?? I'm going to the doctor today for a pregnancy test.....do I need to call my surgeon too? I'd love any help on this. I'm extreamly happy cause this was one of my main reasons of having this surgery but freaking out big time!!!!!

Congrats have a healthy pregnancy.

Well, I would start taking some extra Vitamins specifically to help support your system; as welcome as he/she is, there's a new drain on resources and your body is still learning to cope. I'd check in with my surgeon and a dietitian and get their recommendations.

Congratulations!

Well its confirmed, I'm pregnant. Little overwelmed right now.

Look up jerz oh here, she's a pro at the whole pregnant after RNY thing. I'd let your surgeon know and you'll need to see OB ASAP :) also use caution with taking extra vitamins, some are toxic if you take too much. I can't tell you what you'll need extra of, but ask your surgeon to be safe! Congrats!!!
