I will be doing my first BBQ Saturday since surgery, I'll cook for everyone else the things they like...

For myself I think I will grill fish, veggies or a turkey slider or bring some snow crabs and keep some fruits and things I like around just for me...(trust me, I wont be able to eat all of that... but those would be my options)

How far out of surgery are you?

I am making some dishes to take to a cookout that are RNY friendly for me (including protein pudding dessert) and I am taking my own hamburger patty to cook on the grill. (they are having the higher fat burgers, mine is lean meat)

I've been bringing things like devilled eggs or cheese/crackers. That way I know for sure there will be something I can eat and everyone else enjoys them too.
