Mexico

Have any of you had RNY Surgery in Mexico? I am curious. I am doing some research for my options and my Insurance will not cover RNY. If you have or know some one who has had surgery in Mexico... What was their experience? How much did it cost? How was the follow up care. Would you recommend? Thanks so much in advance for any help you can provide.

I had my surgery in Mexico as I live in Mexico. Excellent experience, no complications, no nausea, no vomiting, it has been a great experience and would recommend my surgeon and his team to everyone. He has many patients that come from the US and Canada. His name is Dr. Alberto Aceves, you could read more about it at http://gastricsleevesurgeon.com and at http://mexicalibariatric.com He is located in Mexicali, just 90 min east from San Diego.

for some reason when I paste the links it looks like they won't work, it is www.gastricsleevesurgeon.com and www.mexicalibariatric.com Hope they work. The sites and the testimonials helped me big time in my decision making.
