Surgery date may 1 st. ......

Hello all. I'm new here. My date is may 1st. I'm scared to death. I work in an er and see so many good stories and many horror stories. The doc doing my surgery I've worked with for years so I didn't go through as many hoops as some of you. Any one know what I should stock my kitchen with now before the date?

Your surgeon should give you a list of what food you can eat at each stage after surgery. When released from the hospital I was on liquids only for a week then anything that was soup, yogurt, etc.
