Just got mine today, I start my puree diet on tuesday. I was looking for the mini one (cuisinart) but only found a regular sized one (black & decker) at wal-mart. I've heard they come in pretty handy after WLS. Amazon has the mini one in several colors, I was about to order the purple one, but couldn't wait to have mine at home! :D

You can just use a regular blender as well. When I was on my puree portion of my post op diet, I just ate cottage cheese, yogurt, mashed potato, mashed sweet potato, mashed beans, etc. etc. So I really did not even have to puree anything. I also heard people eating baby food.
