Same here this is the first time I've picked up my tablet and logged on, just haven't been up to much. Doesn't help that the house is empty from 9 am to 8 pm and that I don't like being alone. Tried going to the store this past Sunday and ended up in tears half way through the list he wanted me to sit down and let him finish, but I said to let me get through. Can't wait to get back to work (did I just say that) LOL

Surgery date May 14th 2013

Starting to get anxious as my day is Friday. Not only about the surgery but also "leaving" my 2 year old for a couple of days while I'm in the hospital. The hospital is in a different city than where I'm from. I'm sure all will go well, but how do you explain to a 2 year old you can't pick them up. She will be very heart broken.

Went to my last group meeting yesterday. At the end I asked the coordinator if the surgeon would book my pre-op and dietician appt. She said to me my June 12 appt is my pre-op. I said holly shit that means my surgery could be June. Way too happy. I told my husband this morning this is a dream come true. And I have been a person that I always had personality..good self esteem even being fat. I just wanna me able to be normal. Good luck to everyone having surgery in May, and again cant wakt to be on that side of tge field.

I understand how you are feeling. I will just like that one week ago. We have came up with "other ways" to get things done and for me not to pick her up. Yesterday was my first time after surgery going to pick her up from preschool. She ran up and was telling all her friends and teachers "look my mommy is better my mommy is better". This morning I woke her up just a few mins earlier than normal just so we could " cudle and snuggle:" in the recliner. (I made sure to put a pillow on my stomach just incase).

Ugh. Idk what is going on with me the last couple of days. I've ended up "throwing up" Idk it's like I have foamy spit coming up that I gave to get out. Guess it could be worse. Just glad throwing up isn't the same acidy bile as before.

Oh no! I hope your feeling better. Maybe you ate something that just didn't agree with your pouch.

My surgery is this THURS and I am scared %@&*-less. I don't think' date=' I will be able to sleep in the next 24+ hrs. It's starting to hit me really hard, that this is truly happening. I have so much on my mind, I feel like my head is going to explode.

Question. I had preop appointment today. I got prescriptions for gallstones and Pepcid. Am I supposed to take these before the surgery or after? I forgot to ask today. I will call tomorrow, but was just curious. Thanks
