Feeling overwhelmed today. Had my endo yesterday & had a hard time with the narcotics wearing off. Once the sedative finally wore off, I felt high as a kite & it's finally subsiding about 36 hours later. I missed an extra day of work that I wasn't planning on and have a migraine, yet the worst part was hearing my results. I had no clue that I would have so much deterioration of my esophagus, let alone a large hiatal hernia. A couple of providers are lagging on getting medical records to my surgeon. I've made so many phone calls and get the same story, they supposedly faxed them multiple times, yet the surgeon's office insists they haven't gotten anything. I don't even know which place to trust. How hard is it to fax a few pages??? I suppose the next step is to request the records in-hand & drive them to their office myself, which would require taking another day off work. After all of this, I just feel NUMB.

Goodness im back on air! Ive been recieving everybodys messages and reading as we go but couldnt reply! It was so nice seeing you guys motivating each other! Good luck 1 may surgeries. Thinking of you.. Oh my, i realized that im the last one to be having my surgery in may eeeeeek... Started with my puree diet on monday, and goodness its tuff!

God speed May surgeries. You will be fine. Sip sip walk walk

No liquid diet. Just low carb no sugar diet.

Oh wow these surgeons are all really different from each other

Didn't tell my mom or sisters because they are jealous and negative of everything, nonsupportive and they would just be so judgmental. Don't need any of that. Plus, this is for ME! :-)

Thanks. I told hubby kids and a few close friends. My sis is in medical business so she has a different perspective and is also worried about something happening to me. Heading to Boston now and am not nervous just kind if excited. This is my new birthday. Sign me. Skinny girl inside just waiting to dance!!

Welcome back! I can't believe we are actually in May already!! I love this group we have. It's great that we have so much support from one another. How long is your puree diet?
