O.K. from some of the posts, I was afraid it meant "Dumb Husband."

And I thought LOL meant "Lots of Luck".

I never knew what DH stood for either. What are some of the other abreviations I have seen and their meanings? Teresa

So basically, DH just depends on the mood you're in at the time you're using it. Oh, I see!

DH is a standard abbreviation for husband on parenting boards, and yeah, it stands for whatever one is thinking at the moment. You'll also see DD (d* daughter), DS (d*son), DSS (d* stepson) and so on.

There are a million of 'em. The Internet has created its own language.

DH = Dear Husband; dh = damn husband (depending on context, of course...

Other popular ones, besides those that Alex mentions:

BF = boyfriend

GF = girlfriend

SO = significant other

OMG - Oh my gosh!
