Do u have staples?

I've been reading post on here and some people are mentioning staples. Do u get staples with the Lap RNY or is that just for people with the open bypass?

    The staples are to seal the stomach and the new pouch, even with the laparoscopic RNY. My incisions are sealed with surgical glue.

    I had outside staples and melt away stitches,

    HW 250/1st Lapband 198/2nd Lapband 232/Pre conversion 2/6/13 to bypass 232. Currently,208.8

    I had open RNY and my stitches were on the underside of the incision.
