High keytones post RNY

Hi I thought I had a UTI. Went to doc today said urine clear no problem but my keytones were high. Yes I need to drink more Water & Protein drinks. Anybody else had that problem?

Yes I had high keystones for a while after surgery. Some is the water intake, but a lot is losing the weight. What is released in the fat cells is bad stuff.

I had several UTI after surgery, and never did before surgery. Just make sure your urine is close to clear in color and you will do ok.
