Hi all!

Just found this site and am glad I did. I live in Canada so lucky for me this procedure is covered by my health care coverage. Has anyone else who had this done live in Alberta? What do you need to be sure you are approved? I don't have any health problems yet because of my weight but know it's just a matter of time. I'm 220 at 5"2. How long did you have to wait to get the surgery? I'm so tired of being tired and fat. I just told my husband of my intensions and amazingly I got his support so I'm really excited to get the show on the road!!:clap2:

Holy smokes, Alberta health care covers banding? That's great. BC health care sure as heck doesn't. It covers more drastic forms of gastric surgery but not banding. Lucky you.
