Make sure you know what type of surgery you're getting. Open vs laparascopic. And what kinds of issues your surgeon come across to make him switch the surgery from lap to open. The plan was for mine to be done laparascopically but once he made 3 incisions he found it could not be done and did it openly. I wasn't even aware that this could happen and when I discovered it the next day I was shocked and upset.

Still healing and slight pain. It's the big scar that I really hate as well. If u click on my name and go to post started by me and my post from I think 1/28 has a pic of my scar. It sucks tho
