About to cry

Ok so my surgery is scheduled for Tuesday 19th. My insurance company was just sent the paperwork on the 12 and my claim is under review. I may have to have my surgery cancel until they make a decision. Now I'm worried if they will even approve me at all. At the hospital now and will meet my surgeon for the preop. I hope she still let's me have surgery on the 19th if we don't have an answer. Sooo sad and so many things are going wrong in my life right now. I really need some good news.

Take a deep breath. Insurance companies can be a pain in the butt. Mine waited to the last minute to approve my much needed back surgery. I was in pre op and had to have my surgery pushed back six hours. It took my surgeon calling and getting nasty with the approval nurse. Don't give up. I would call them again and again. Ask them how many days can it take. I know its easier said than done, but don't give up.

Yikes! Fingers crossed for you!
