anemia?

So, my nurse practitioner told me that my surgery may be delayed because I am anemic. I have been taking ferrous sulfate 3 times per day for a week now. Had anyone else had this issue?

When I started my journey, after the initial bloodwork I discovered I was anemic. I started taking iron on my own because I kinda anticipated it would be a problem down the line. I think since you're taking iron now it shouldn't be a problem but I'm not a medical professional so what do i know. I hope everything goes smoothly for you!

I don't have the problem, but- the bariatric vitamin I take has iron in it. It's called Bariatric Fusion. Chewable, tolerable taste pre-op. I like it because I am taking 1 pill 4 x per day. I used to take millions of vitamins.
