Really needing some motivation! :(

I've been discouraged the last few days because I'm having a hard time losing the last 10 lbs before surgery. Tonight I totally pigged out on taco bell. I'm so disappointed in myself and feel like I'm going to fail at surgery if I can't even stay away from fast food for 1 whole month. :/ I have a serious food problem.

Ur new stomach makes cheating difficult and a big deterrent due to discomfort. But don't allow yourself to self medicate w food. Being on a liquid Protein shake and Water diet with only sf Jello and Popsicles or broth to enjoy retrains how we interact w food. Call your nutritionist and ask for advice w cravings. If its really hard maybe look into counseling to uncover and deal with why certain choices are made based on ur feelings, environment etc.

We are becoming new people and this surgery date is ur new birthday, so be encouraged and call or text those that support you and get online and talk to us. This online interaction distracts me from my past late night cheats that hurt me.

We ALL have set backs, don't beat yourself up over it. Just learn from it and move on, I found if I do crave something I have a very small amount and then that satisfies me and I will not over eat. Just promise yourslef you will not do it again. You may want to exercise for a longer period of time to burn off what you ate. Before surgery if I over ate I would see how many calories I over ate and then I would workout extra to burn off what I ate. For example if I ate something like a burger and it was 600 calories, I would workout for how ever long at running or eleptical to burn the 600... it worked for me. Just don't dwell on it .. know you did wrong and promise yourslef you will not do it again !!!
