I burp, but much less frequently and much less forceful than before. I won't be entering any belching contest anytime soon.

I was never a burper till I got banded and my stomach makes so much noise! Not only do I have real burps now, but when it growls, it is so loud! Other people hear it...... My theory is that our banded stomach is like a bottled water or shampoo, now the air has to come up for the food to go down.

i was a normal burper before the band--whatever that means.....but when i had my last fill, the doc had me sit up and drink. i started burping Water and that is not normal for me.

Doc decided it was too much fill.....took out .2cc---i drank and was fine.

I hardly ever burped before the band. Remember that burping contest in Revenge of the Nerds between Booger and Ogre? Well, I could beat both of them easily. My burps occur all the time now -- full stomach, empty stomach, it doesn't matter. And the burps are deep and guttural and seem to last for a good 15 seconds. My boyfriend says I sound like a foghorn. He's been teasing me unmercifully.
