Playing the waiting game...

Hello, new friends! I've been reading the threads for weeks now, but I've never posted.

I'm waiting for approval from my ins. co. I've done everything that's been requested so far. I'm on pins and needles. I started out wanting lap belt but because of health problems my doctor wants me to have gastric bypass. I'm very nervous, but I feel better after I read all the encouraging words you all give to each other. I'm 64. I have diabetes, high blood pressure and sleep apnea. The doctor says all those things will resolve themselves after surgery. I'm very anxious. Thanks to all of you in advance for being there.

Now it's a different waiting game. (: I just got the news that the insurance said Yes! Now it's a matter of waiting for a surgery date. Docs office thinks it'll be about a month till surgery. Soooo excited!

Congrats! It's stressful waiting...
