  3. My surgery is in 1 hour! I can't believe the day is finally here. I'm in a gown and stockings, on a bed waiting for the next step. Today is April Fools Day. Hope there are no tricks in store!????
  4. I take a Zegerid each day for acid reflux. My surgery is Monday. So excited! Does anyone know if I will have to continue to take this med or if this surgery will help with that?

  10. Hello, new friends! I've been reading the threads for weeks now, but I've never posted. I'm waiting for approval from my ins. co. I've done everything that's been requested so far. I'm on pins and needles. I started out wanting lap belt but because of health problems my doctor wants me to have gastric bypass. I'm very nervous, but I feel better after I read all the encouraging words you all give to each other. I'm 64. I have diabetes, high blood pressure and sleep apnea. The doctor says all those things will resolve themselves after surgery. I'm very anxious. Thanks to all of you in advance for being there.
