February 20th RNY surgery date!

I cannot believe it. Had my pre-op appt today. I can have 2 shakes a day 8 oz of soup and 1 Greek yogurt or cottage cheese or Popsicle for snack. I do this for 3 weeks til surgery. Seems a bit restrictive....? What pre-surgery diet are you on?

Mine is very similar! Starting tomorrow! Good luck!

I second that! I'm on the same shake shake and more shake diet... Consider yourself lucky' date=' Pam, you have variety :) I'm going on day 5 of a two week diet. It's hard, but I think it's getting easier. I'm just trying to keep as busy as I can so I'm not daydreaming and nightdreaming about food... which I've done since I can remember lol[/quote']

I'm on day 3 and it absolutely IS getting easier....but still not easy!!! My issue is 8:30, my son goes to bed....the kitchen calls me :/

Ok thanks. I'll count my blessings. Guess it could be worse. Good luck all. I also start tomorrow.

My problem is cooking dinner for everyone. I think they will have to fend for themselves for awhile, as I have decided to go on a walk at that time!

And my kiddo is 8, I still have to help with supper. I have discovered if I chug a shake right before I make his dinner that I'm queasy and food is repulsive for a bit! I know, weird, but whatever works!!!!
