How much protein daily?

My nut told me before my band surgery to make sure I get 120 grams a day. This was in the liquid diet weeks before surgery. I am seeing on here that most common is 60-65 grams a day. Is this correct? Seems real low to me. I get my diet in February.

I've been told to shot for 60 grams :) same thing I was told with my band (same doc though so......)

I'm 10 weeks out tomorrow and I average about 90 a day.y dr and nut told me 60 was the number you need to hit.

I was told by my doc a 75-90. My trainer said 120 in order to rebuild the muscle I have lost. Finally my supplement guy said 100, but you can never have too much protein.

So with that being said I am shooting for 130 on most days. I average about 100-120.

For men it is my understanding the levels are higher. Us women do not need as much as you!

My surgeon said at least 60 every day
