Pre op liquid diet?

So when I got the call today about my surgery being on Feb 4th, they didn't tell me to start a liquid diet, I think I may only have to do it the day before surgery, has anyone else had this happen? I'm just curious,I'll call them again on Monday just to make sure. Lol

    Congrats my surgery is on the 4th also and I'm so nervous. They just told me to start the pre-op diet tomorrow.
