I've seen topics where members having surgery in the same month have kinda banded together to offer support and encouragement to one another. I think this is a wonderful idea, and I'd like to see if there's anyone having surgery in March that would like to support one another.

I have a tentative date for the second or third week in March. I have UHC through Georgia Pacific and they use BRS for approvals. I don't expect any delays, nor does my surgeon's office, so she saved me a spot, so to speak, lol.

Tonight I have my psyc eval, and Monday is my information class, I have two more visits, 2/5 and 3/5 of my six month supervised diet, and on March 5th when I leave my PCP's office, I'll take my worksheet to the surgeon and we'll submit to insurance. That's where I'm at!

I'd love to talk with others that are looking at the same time frame as me!!

Feels like everything is going so fast! My pre op is tomorrow! Surgery 7 days after that. Already have my surgery time 6am! Even have all my follow up appointments scheduled already by the doctors office.love them!

Looking forward to not being winded when I walk up stairs, not having to worry if my clothes fit (too big would be great!), putting my socks on with ease, fitting nicely into an airplane seat, wanting to be in pictures, enjoying a nice beach vacation where I feel good about wearing shorts and a swimsuit, saving money on food!! Really everything!! What are you looking forward to?

There are so many things I am looking forward to!! I would like to slip on a size that is a single digit lol That would be amazing I'm hoping I have more confidence in myself!!

Ok my surgery date is march 7 2013 and I'd kike to be on the list. -

Preop visit to the surgeon this morning went great. Surgery date is still fixed for 3/11!! Preop visit to the hospital is scheduled for tomorrow morning.

It's really starting to hit home now. Getting really anxious / nervous / elated / scared and whole bunch more adjectives!!

One question, am I the only one who asked my surgeon about a "last meal"? He did actually tell me okay since I'd lost more than he asked and said he wanted me back on the liquid diet for at least two days before the surgery.

Because of that we ordered take out from my favorite Chinese delivery tonight. I pigged out and now feel so bad and guilty about it. I know I can't slip into my old behaviors after the surgery or this all going to be for naught.
